International Union for Physical and Engineering Sciences in Medicine
"The principal objective of IUPESM is to contribute to the advancement of physical and
engineering sciences in medicine for the benefit and well being of humanity."

Beijing is ready to host the 23^rd IUPESM World Congress.

The World Congress 2015 will be held in Toronto, Canada.

The IUPESM constituent organisations IFMBE and IOMP selected among 8 applications the Canadian Organization of Medical Physicists (COMP), in partnership with the Canadian Medical and Biological Engineering Society (CMBES), as the hosts of the 2015 World Congress.

The IUPESM has set up a

Health Technology Training Group
(HTTG)

which is intended to assist countries in defining their health technology needs, and identifying and rectifying health system constraints for adequate management and utilization of health technology, particularly through training, capacity building and the development and application of appropriate technology.
