Call for applications
for
World
Congress
 2015
 

 

Past world congresses of the IUPESM have reaffirmed the unifying concepts of physical and engineering sciences in medicine. The next two Congresses in Munich in 2009 and in Beijing 2012 will strengthen the co-operation within IUPESM.

We are pleased to invite countries interesting in hosting the 2015 congress to submit an application  to organize the 2015 World Congress. The documents Letter of Intent, Criteria for Selection of Site for World Congress, World Congress Application Form 2015 and Summary of the Proposal can be found on this web site.

Note that applications to host the Congress must represent both the biomedical engineering and the medical physics National Members from the host country.

The deadline to submit the Letter of Intent is April 29th 2009

and

the deadline to submit a complete application is July 1st 2009.

 

The bids to host World Congress 2015 should be presented in Munich during the WC2009 prior the site selection.

 

 

The IUPESM has set up a

Health Technology and Training Task Group (HTTTG)

 which is intended to assist countries in defining their health technology needs, and identifying and rectifying health system constraints for adequate management and utilization of health technology, particularly through training, capacity building and the development and application of appropriate technology.
